    Nashville Dog Training Club

Nashville Dog Training is an affiliate of the American Kennel Club (AKC). It welcomes dogs of all breeds as well as mixed breeds. All board members, instructors, and support personnel are volunteers whose goal is to help you train your dog to be a rewarding member of your family.

    DarkWood Dog Training

Abigail Hyndman is a Certified Master Dog Trainer serving Nashville and surrounding areas. Abigail offers group classes, private in-home training, and boarded training boot camps.

    R.E.A.D. Program

The mission of the R.E.A.D. program is to improve the literacy skills of children through the assistance of registered therapy teams as literacy mentors. R.E.A.D. is a program separate from LOAL, but many of our volunteers do both.

    Buddy Break

Buddy Break is a free respite program designed to give caregivers of kids with special needs (VIP kids) a break from their ongoing care-giving responsibilities. Music City LOAL is proud to volunteer with our local Buddy Break. Please refer to our event calendar for scheduling information.

    Titling Your Dog with AKC

All Music City LOAL dogs are eligible to earn AKC Therapy Dog titles, including purebreds and mixed breeds. To earn an AKC Therapy Dog title, dogs must be registered or listed with AKC and have a number.
